Learning and Growing in Christ K-10
We've been here on Hobart's beautiful eastern shore for over 30 years.
With 8 hectares of grounds close to Ralph's Bay, we've established a happy, caring environment where children develop their skills...and an understanding of God's world and their place in it.
At Emmanuel parents and teachers work in partnership to provide the best for the children.
To foster a love of learning, we provide a wide range of subjects and educational approaches to cope with a diversity of interests.
Our high academic standards, achieved in a nurturing environment from Kindergarten to Year 10, prepare our students for future studies and work.
There's a safe and affordable bus service to most areas.
Our fees are affordable too!
When our students complete Year 10 we encourage them to enter Year 11 at Calvin Secondary School. There they continue their studies in a school that combines identical Christian values with a proven record of academic achievement.

Emmanuel Students Reflect on Sacrifice
Students at Emmanuel Christian School commemorated Anzac Day in a whole school ceremony at their Rokeby grounds last week.
Parents and friends of the school were invited to participate in the service where students were given a sense of the true meaning of ANZAC.
"Our students were encouraged to understand and reflect on the enormous sacrifice that soldiers made for our freedom," said Emmanuel Primary Coordinator, Miss Saskia Loef.
During the service Year 2/3 student Kristian Youle explained the meaning of ANZAC before primary students Isaac Rushton, Kezia Sansom-Gower and Hannah Denman led the gathering in prayers.
During the week students had each made a red, paper poppy to commemorate fallen servicemen and took turns during the ceremony to lay them at the foot of the Australian flag as the ‘Last Post' was played.
"At Emmanuel, we want our students to be thankful and know that the life and freedom that they enjoy today is largely due to the sacrifices of our ANZACs. We want them to have an understanding that being part of a community, whether it be school, local or national means working together to achieve great things."
"This sense of service and commitment to our communities is central to all we do at Emmanuel Christian School."
